From Fundraiser to silent auctions, below is a “taste” of charities and foundations we support:
Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta
THE WINE SHOP is proud to support The Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta (KCCFA), a charitable organization that helps build bridges of hope and pillars of support for families fighting childhood cancer. The Foundation helps Alberta children and families by providing funding and programs in four areas: Camp & Community, Pediatric Oncology Research, Clinical Support and the Derek Wandzura Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Brown Bagging it For Calgary’s Kids
Our newest charity for 2010, Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids (BB4CK) was established as a lunch program in 1990. Lunches were provided to homeless children and youth in Calgary who did not have access to food and were disinclined to visit centres that focused on adult homelessness.
